So....

I am so happy that I can finally share this on my blog.

I am pregnant.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wanted to tell sooner, but some of my family reads this, and they had to know first. We have known for a little over two weeks now. We are so excited, and it is truly a miracle. Right before we were both going on clomid........and going to do our first IUI..... Seriously. A miracle.

Places I Shop

I'm joining Kate's "Show Us Your Life Friday" on my favorite places to shop. Wanna play along?

I really enjoy shopping, but I do not think that it is that much fun if you don't have the money to do it with. So unless I do, I stay away. :)

My two favorite stores to buy clothes are hands down Banana Republic (guilty pleasure) and Target. I also like the Gap, TJ Maxx, Marshalls and Forever 21. And if you can find an outlet store for any of these, that is always a plus! I love a good bargain, but sometimes I don't have the patience to dig around in places like TJ, and Marsh.

For shoes I love love love Nine West and Aldos. Pretty much all of my shoes that I wear on a daily basis (I have to dress up for work every day) comes from one of these two places.

There are tons of cute speciality shops and boutiques in the area but they are SO insanely expensive. And let's face it, when you have a house, and you are trying to make a baby, those places just tend to not be budget friendly!

What about you, where do you like to shop?

We have a plan....sort of.

So at the appointment today we discussed Chris' results from his tests on Monday. Ultrasound-normal. Bloodwork-normal, but in the "low" normal range. So, the urologist's idea was to put him on clomid, to help give his pituitary gland a boost and help his hormone levels raise in hopes that it will create healthier sperm. Once again, his count it good, but for some reason his morphology is not so great, and either is the motility.
I, will also be on a low dose of clomid of 50 mg. When I showed my OB my charts she said it looked like I was ovulating but that she really could not confirm it (I do not have any fertility issues that we know of.) Being on the clomid will help insure that I ovulate (hopefully, but I don't really have reason to worry since I am pretty sure that I do), and also give us better chances of our IUI working.
So we are both going on clomid (weird huh?), and then the IUI fun begins. We are praying that this works.
Also making an appointment with the RE soon. I have been putting it off. I just do not want to "go there" yet. My OB told me today that she will support our decisions but after a couple IUIs then we really need to go and see him. I know this of course. I also know that she is skeptical about the IUI's working because of the super low morphology, which from what I read does not even make us candidates for having an IUI, which I have yet to understand but whatever. We are praying for a miracle here, and I am not yet in a position where I am ready for someone to tell us that we need to move to IVF.
So yep, there is the plan.

Things just work out really weird sometimes.

I find this really ironic. I am currently missing this huge, double baby shower at my work right now. They are always from 12-1 so that people can come on their lunches. I even made a huge crock pot of soup for it. But nope, I have to skip my lunch today. I am sitting at my desk right now, eating, while everyone else is upstairs having fun. I am missing this baby shower.....to go to another doctors appointment with Chris, for infertility issues. Like I said, ironic no? Maybe it is better this way, who knows. Maybe it would have been too hard. I know that I have been struggling really bad the last couple of days. Thinking bad, negative thoughts, getting upset all of a sudden. Coming home and laying in bed all night and just watching TV and not doing anything else.
It stinks.
Once again, we are hoping for some sort of "fixable" news today. I will update later.
