29 Week Survey

How far along? 29 Weeks!
Total weight gain/loss: 2.5 more lbs. Again. 28.5 lbs. total (WHAT?!>!!!!)
How big is baby? Supposed to be around the size of a butternut squash: 2.5 lbs, and 15 inches long.
Maternity clothes? Mostly. They are SO much more comfy.
Sleep: Ahh it's on and off. Getting harder to move around, and my hips are always killing me when I wake up to roll over. Still waking up on my back which is driving me nuts since it's really starting to hurt!
Best moment this week: Kerri and I had our baby shower at work yesterday, it was really fun! Also getting my massage this past Saturday.
Movement: Love it.
Food cravings: Fresh fruit, all the time. Juice. Water.
Gender: Team Blue!
Labor Signs: nope
Belly Button in or out? I would say it is pretty flat at this point, but not poking out yet.
Stretchmarks? Just like a tiny one on my boob. None at all my stomach! I am using Organic Palmer's Cocoa Butter cream in the morning and this "Beautiful Belly Balm" at night that I got at our local health food store.
How are you feeling? I have actually felt pretty tired this week. It's getting more uncomfy to sleep and things have been busy at night....also probably just cause it is 3rd tri. now?
What I am looking forward to: Hopefully we will finish painting the trim for the nursery this week and Saturday we are going to niece Nataleigh's 1 year birthday party, so I am really looking forward to seeing everyone. This part year flew by.
What I miss: Not being able to sleep on my back and stomach.
Weekly Wisdom: Stay active.
Milestones: Having the work shower. Seems we have been looking forward to it for a while now and can't believe it is all over with already! Still in amazement that I am in the 3rd trimester already, time is flying by. I'm excited and getting nervous all at once. Here is a little peak from our shower, I hope to make a post about it tomorrow maybe.

Me-29 Weeks, and Kerri-35 Weeks

How your baby's growing:

Your baby now weighs about 2 1/2 pounds (like a butternut squash) and is a tad over 15 inches long from head to heel. His muscles and lungs are continuing to mature, and his head is growing bigger to make room for his developing brain. To meet his increasing nutritional demands, you'll need plenty of protein, vitamins C, folic acid, and iron. And because his bones are soaking up lots of calcium, be sure to drink your milk (or find another good source of calcium, such as cheese, yogurt, or enriched orange juice). This trimester, about 250 milligrams of calcium are deposited in your baby's hardening skeleton each day.
