37 Week Survey-Baby O #2
How far along? 37 weeks
Total weight gain/loss: +0 Still at 176 lbs. 35 lbs. total. At this point I had gained 37 lbs. with Gray.
How big is baby? Baby is now considered "full term," even though your due date is three weeks away. If you go into labor now, his lungs will likely be mature enough to fully adjust to life outside the womb. Your baby weighs 6 1/3 pounds and measures a bit over 19 inches, head to heel (like a stalk of Swiss chard). Many babies have a full head of hair at birth, with locks from 1/2 inch to 1 1/2 inches long. -Baby Center
Maternity clothes? Absolutely.
Sleep: Not good. I'm super uncomfortable. There we a couple days at the end of last week that were absolutely awful. Thankfully the past two nights were a lot better, because I was literally starting to feel sick and physically ill because I felt so sleep deprived and my body just felt exhausted. It wasn't fun.
Best moment this week: Spending Friday morning with Chris and Graydon, getting more prepared for the baby, our friend's little boy Tucker's bday party on Saturday and hanging out with them all evening, and lunch with Lyn and Mike on Sunday.
Movement: Yep, all the time. She loves to kick me in the ribs.
Food cravings: Juice, Special K Fruit and Yogurt cereal with vanilla almond milk (I eat least at least once a day right now!!)
Food aversions: Haven't been nauseous this week so nothing really.
Gender: Baby girl!
Labor Signs: A lot more frequent and painful Braxton Hicks.
Symptoms: Tired. Contractions. Heartburn. A bit of swelling.
Belly Button in or out? Poking out!
Wedding rings on or off? Still on, makes me very happy.
Stretchmarks? Just around my belly button.
How are you feeling? Ummm my sciatica is really hurting me on my left side, it's hard to sleep, my hips and pelvis hurt bad when I walk. I would say that I am feeling "ready"! :)
What I am looking forward to: On Wednesday I find out the results of my Strep B test (prayers for negative!!!!!!!!) and then right after that at noon my coworkers are also throwing me a Sprinkle at work! I have the BEST coworkers and friends! They are so sweet and generous...I am really going to miss seeing everyone all the time! Also getting curtains in the mail tomorrow from Urban Outfitters. We will see if I like them in the nursery....
What I miss: Feeling normal, haha.
Weekly Wisdom: Never take the special people in your life for granted and always be appreciative!
Milestones: Officially considered "Full Term". Come on out baby!
Pregnancy Moments with Chris and others: Chris has noticed the babies huge movements lately and is just like WHOA!! haha!

Sprinkle Shower
Last Saturday some of my closest friends and family gave me a Sprinkle Shower. It was lovely! The theme was a coral/salmon color and gray, with different chevron and flower patterns. It was so pretty and everything matched...it was just really cute! My SIL Emileigh spent A LOT of time on all the decor and little details. I love the "O" that she made along with the super cute little diaper buggy. Here are a few pictures from the shower!
So much fun. I am so very blessed to have so many special people in my life!

36 Week Survey-Baby O #2
How far along? 36 weeks
Total weight gain/loss: +0 Still at 176 lbs. 35 lbs. total. At this point I had gained almost 37 lbs. with Gray.
How big is baby? Baby is still packing on the pounds — at the rate of about an ounce a day. She now weighs almost 6 pounds (like a crenshaw melon) and is more than 18 1/2 inches long. She's shedding most of the downy covering of hair that covered her body as well as the vernix caseosa, the waxy substance that covered and protected her skin during her nine-month amniotic bath. Your baby swallows both of these substances, along with other secretions, resulting in a blackish mixture, called meconium, will form the contents of her first bowel movement.-Baby Center
Maternity clothes? YES!!
Sleep: Not good. I'm super uncomfortable.
Best moment this week: Definitely my Sprinkle shower on Saturday, it was so awesome! Everyone was so incredibly generous, it was overwhelming. I feel so blessed!
Movement: Yes and she hurts me a lot. I have an appointment tomorrow and I'm praying she is not breech anymore.
Food cravings: Juice, chinese, spicy food.
Food aversions: Haven't been nauseous this week so nothing really.
Gender: Baby girl!
Labor Signs: I can just tell my body is getting ready. Hopefully less than one month to go!
Symptoms: Tired. Contractions. Heartburn. I have a bit of smelling in my lower legs now but it isn't too bad at all and doesn't hurt thank goodness!
Belly Button in or out? Poking out!
Wedding rings on or off? Still on, woo hoo! My hands only swell if I am really warm. This is like a record compared to last time!
Stretchmarks? Just around my belly button.
How are you feeling? I do not want to complain but I am officially feeling rough and ready to have this baby. I hate to feel like that already since I know I could still have a month to go. But, it has been hard to sleep, move around, bend over and my sciatica on my left side has been hurting SO bad!
What I am looking forward to: My appointment tomorrow to see if the baby has turned, getting my Group Strep B test over with ( they didn't do it last week after all) and my Sprinkle at work next Wednesday!
What I miss: Not having sciatica and being able to roll over in bed like a normal person, lol.
Weekly Wisdom: Be thankful!
Milestones: One month left (or less hopefully) WOO HOO!
Pregnancy Moments with Chris and others: Still having a lot of people continue to tell me how good I look or that I look cute etc. Someone said I am smuggling a basketball under my shirt, lol.

35 Week Survey- Baby O #2
How far along? 35weeks
Total weight gain/loss: +6....?! What in the world? The scale said 176 this morning. I am still confused! Also when I went to my doctors appointment they told me that I hadn't gained any weight in the past two weeks. I don't know what is going on, but OH WELL! So 35 lbs. total. If this is right, then I have officially past my weight gain from when I was pregnant with Graydon. At this point I had only gained 34 lbs. with him!
How big is baby? Baby doesn't have much room to maneuver now that he's over 18 inches long and tips the scales at 5 1/4 pounds (pick up a honeydew melon). Because it's so snug in your womb, he isn't likely to be doing somersaults anymore, but the number of times he kicks should remain about the same. His kidneys are fully developed now, and his liver can process some waste products. Most of his basic physical development is now complete — he'll spend the next few weeks putting on weight. -Baby Center
Maternity clothes? YES!!
Sleep: It's been OK. I wake up a lot but usually can go right back to sleep. It's really hard to readjust.
Best moment this week: Getting tons done around the house. I feel like we are ready if the baby came early.
Movement: Yep. She is really hurting my ribs, hips and as of today I am starting to get the sharp pains in my bladder/urethra area. OUCH!
Food cravings: Salads, OJ or Apple juice, comfort food.
Food aversions: Well I have felt nauseous a lot lately so it just depends.
Gender: Baby girl!
Labor Signs: Been having contractions today on and off and some lower back pain.
Symptoms: Tired. Contractions. Heartburn. Fun stuff! :)
Belly Button in or out? Poking out!
Wedding rings on or off? Still on, woo hoo! My hands only swell if I am really warm.
Stretchmarks? Just around my belly button.
How are you feeling? Pretty good but tired!! And getting a lot more uncomfortable.
What I am looking forward to: My OB appointment tomorrow. I think I have to get my Group Strep B test done. And then on Saturday I am having a Sprinkle! Can't wait!!!
What I miss: Having energy.
Weekly Wisdom: Enjoy time with your first when you can before the second comes.
Milestones: 35/35!!!!!!!
Pregnancy Moments with Chris and others: I have just had a lot of people continue to tell me how good I look. I really appreciate that!

34 Week Survey- Baby O #2
How far along? 34 weeks
Total weight gain/loss: +3 lbs. since week 32. Not too shabby! 29 lbs. total. At 34 weeks with Gray I had already gained almost 34 lbs.
How big is baby? Baby now weighs about 4 3/4 pounds (like your average cantaloupe) and is almost 18 inches long. Her fat layers – which she'll need to regulate her body temperature once she's born – are filling her out, making her rounder. Her skin is also smoother than ever. Her central nervous system is maturing and her lungs are continuing to mature as well. If you've been nervous about preterm labor, you'll be happy to know that babies born between 34 and 37 weeks who have no other health problems generally do fine. They may need a short stay in the neonatal nursery and may have a few short-term health issues, but in the long run, they usually do as well as full-term babies. -Baby Center
Maternity clothes? Definitely. Love them.
Sleep: It's been a little iffy. Took a unisom one night to help and I was still waking up a ton which is unusual. Oh well, just dealing with it!
Best moment this week: New Years Eve with my best friend and her family, having a short work week, Chris's work Christmas party for his new job, getting a ton done around the house and getting the nursery ready to go, getting the rug (I love it!!). Oh and I almost forgot..Saturday I got a prenatal massage and it was amaaaaazing. I went and saw Andrea who was our Doula for Graydon. She gives the BEST massages! I am going to see her again around 38 weeks and I can't wait. That evening I also tuned up our registry at BBRUS since I am having to Sprinkles coming up, one at work and one with friends and family. I am really looking forward to them!
Movement: Almost always. And yes she was in a breech position last week at my doctor's appointment but she still has plenty of time to flip around so no worries yet! She technically has two weeks to "lock and load" as I am calling it. My OB said by week 36 or so she should choose her position and most likely stay there.
Food cravings: Healthy food, OJ...my stomach has been getting upset by a lot of different foods lately including anything with too much sugar.
Food aversions: Nothing anymore really.
Gender: Baby girl!
Labor Signs: Still having strong BH a lot. Last night I had a bit of a scare and had some really painful cramping/contractions for about 2-3 hours. I had to lift Graydon when we left daycare because he was throwing a fit and I think I overdid it... It was not a good evening.
Symptoms: Tired. Contractions. Heartburn. Fun stuff! :)
Belly Button in or out? I would say it's definitely poking out now!
Wedding rings on or off? Still on, woo hoo! I haven't had any swelling really that I have noticed this time around..I am thanking the cold weather for that I think!
Stretchmarks? Just around my belly button.
How are you feeling? The sciatica has been better the last couple of days thank goodness. My pelvis is hurting A LOT so things are starting to widen I guess. Normal stuff...body is definitely preparing for labor.
What I am looking forward to: Getting more stuff done around the house this weekend. Getting fabric samples in the mail for the nursery curtains. Someone from Etsy may be making them for us. They are too expensive online.
What I miss: Being able to sleep and get out of bed like a normal person, LOL. Graydon not throwing his tantrums all the time.
Weekly Wisdom: Don't lift your 2.5 year old when you are about to have a baby soon....
Milestones: Can't think of anything specific this week.
Pregnancy Moments with Chris and others: I got a really great compliment at the Christmas party Friday night. I had been talking with this nurse in the kitchen. A while later we were all out in the dining room and she goes WAIT! You are pregnant!? You are 34 weeks?? You look amaaaaaazing!! I didn't even notice that you were pregnant when we were talking in the kitchen!! LOL. I was like THANK YOUUUU!!! haha!

33 Week Survey- Baby O #2
How far along? 33 weeks
Total weight gain/loss: I have no idea this week! I have been so good about weighing myself too. Whatever...I will check again next week.
How big is baby? Baby weighs a little over 4 pounds (heft a pineapple) and has passed the 17-inch mark. He's rapidly losing that wrinkled, alien look and his skeleton is hardening. The bones in his skull aren't fused together, which allows them to move and slightly overlap, thus making it easier for him to fit through the birth canal. These bones don't entirely fuse until early adulthood, so they can grow as his brain and other tissue expands during infancy and childhood. - Baby Center
Maternity clothes? YES! So comfy....I am feeling huge lately. Except for my pajama pants or shorts, or sweat shirts...or sweaters I wear over almost everything.
Sleep: Pretty good but when I wake up and have to roll over...it hurts and it getting a lot harder.
Best moment this week: There were soooooooo many!! Christmas Eve party with Chris's family, spending Christmas Day with his parents and Aunt, and getting to watch Graydon open all of this presents. He was SO great at it this year! Driving home and having Christmas with my family on Thursday and just hanging out and catching up. Saturday night we got to have a date night and went out to eat at Bonefish and then saw Les Mes. Thankful for people who gave us gift cards and also for good friends willing to watch Gray for us. Spending New Years with our good friends Kerri and Daryle. Graydon stayed up the latest he has ever been up...it was like 1:30 AM I think!! Talk about a record! I feel blessed to be able to ring in the New Year with Chris and Graydon. Love my little family.
Movement: Yes, a lot...she always hurts me. I have a doctor's appt. tomorrow and I can't wait to see if the OB can tell if she is head down or what because I swear she is breech....
Food cravings: Sweets, OJ
Food aversions: Nothing anymore really.
Gender: Baby girl!
Labor Signs: Still having strong BH a lot.
Symptoms: Tired. Contractions. Heartburn. Fun stuff! :)
Belly Button in or out? It's flat/out a bit.
Wedding rings on or off? I would love to be able to keep them on this time around. We will see!
Stretchmarks? Just around my belly button.
How are you feeling? My back is hurting SO bad! Along with sciatica....it has been giving me issues for a couple weeks now. Shooting right down to my ankle in my left leg. Ugh!! Besides that....i feel: Full of joy, happiness etc. I feel blessed!
What I am looking forward to: Friday I am hoping to meet my sister to go to Home Goods and have lunch at the restaurant we used to work at. Saturday we have Chris's work party ( the last party, finally!!) OH and I finally ordered a rug. Can't wait until it gets here so I can see it. I hope we like it!!
What I miss: Being able to sleep and get out of bed like a normal person, LOL.
Weekly Wisdom: Don't procrastinate.
Milestones: Almost to 34 weeks. This baby is going to be here SO soon!! Ahhh!!
Pregnancy Moments with Chris and others: Seeing peoples reactions when they see my stomach move like crazy is always good fun!
No more Christmas decorations after this picture! Hopefully they will all be in the nursery from here on out, we will see!
