26 Week Survey

How far along? 26 Weeks!
Total weight gain/loss: +2.5 lbs. this week. 24.5 lbs. total. AH!
How big is baby? Supposed to be 1 2/3 lbs, and 14 inches long.
Maternity clothes? Yes and no. I wear a lot of larger sizes from Target and Old Navy.
Sleep: Pretty good but I wake up a lot, and keep waking up on my back. It is so hard to stay on my side.
Best moment this week: We are officially sleeping upstairs, which means we can start working on the nursery soon, we just need to finish cleaning it out so we can start painting.
Movement: Yes! I love it.
Food cravings: Fruit, juice, squirt, chocolate
Gender: Team Blue!
Labor Signs: nope
Belly Button in or out? I would say it is pretty flat at this point.
Stretchmarks? Just like a tiny one on my boob. Stay away from my stomach! I am using Organic Palmer's Cocoa Butter cream in the morning and this "Beautiful Belly Balm" at night that I got at our local health food store.
How are you feeling? Pretty tired lately, we have been working non-stop on house stuff and I haven't been getting to bed early enough.
What I am looking forward to: I have my first shower tomorrow, with my friends! I am so excited, I can't wait! Also getting the nursery cleaned out this weekend.
What I miss: Sleep and my hips not hurting.
Weekly Wisdom: Go to bed on time because feeling like poo every single day stinks.
Milestones: I just really feel like I am hitting a big growth spurt or something! And I am constantly getting comments from people now, even strangers, asking when I am due, etc.
Also...I guess his testicles are descending into his scrotum?? Lol.... (see below.) Good to know though! :)

How your baby's growing:

The network of nerves in your baby's ears is better developed and more sensitive than before. He may now be able to hear both your voice and your partner's as you chat with each other. He's inhaling and exhaling small amounts of amniotic fluid, which is essential for the development of his lungs. These so-called breathing movements are also good practice for when he's born and takes that first gulp of air. And he's continuing to put on baby fat. He now weighs about a pound and two-thirds and measures 14 inches (an English hothouse cucumber) from head to heel. If you're having a boy, his testicles are beginning to descend into his scrotum — a trip that will take about two to three days.

You look adorable!! My friend that just had her baby last week used olive oil and didn't get one single stretch mark. She was super tiny before she got pregnant and her belly and boobs got BIG. So glad what you have is working for you.

We didn't move it, but my mom just drove the piano out to our new house in March of this year. So I am finally reunited with the piano!!!
